With Christmas comes all the people that have moved away coming back for the holidays with their families. I left work early yesterday to just shop. I wanted to look for some deals and I found a few. I also had to stop at my cell phone provider's store to see if they could fix my phone issue with not being able to text my mom. They were of no help. While there I saw a girl I graduated high school with. She was with her parents. I didn't say hi to her because I wanted to get my phone situation taken care of. She looked at me, and looked away.
I then went to a store and saw a guy I graduated high school with. He was working and as chance would have he was the cashier that I had to go to. I said hello. He treated me like every other customer. Am I hurt? No. It makes me feel FABULOUS about myself. I am down 86 pounds and people do not recognize me :) I'm ok with that.
I took today off because I had time off to use. I could have stayed in bed and slept my day away. Instead I decided to go to this crazy fitness class that I love. I bought a Polar FT4 Watch and Heart rate monitor to help track my fitness. It was so neat to see my heart rate and the calories I was burning. During the 30 minute class I mostly stayed in the heart rate zone except when we had 15 second breaks. After the class it said I burned a little over 300 calories!!! I decided to keep working out to see what would burn calories. I ran .2 miles, then walked at a high incline. I then did 20 minutes on a cardio machine, and ended my workout with a half a mile run. I had to run slower than usual because it said my heart rate was too high. That was ok with me because my legs were very tired. At the end of all of this I burned over 600 calories!
Back on track today. I started my day off with 1/2 of a Cliff Bar. Breakfast was an orange and the other half of the Cliff Bar after my work out. I had a slice of peanut butter toast for a snack and drank some fabulous tea throughout the morning. I am going to put a frozen Pizza in the oven and save some for dinner. Then off to do a little shopping. I think my printer died after I lost power on Sunday for a few hours.
